We spent about three hours today touring the USS Midway and we still didn’t see it all. It is almost 1000 feet in length and during its hey day housed 4500 sailors. The interior  hanger was 650 feet in length and it was such an amazingly large area it was hard to realize that you were actually on a ship.  They are continuing to refurbish the ship and open new areas and new exhibits.
