Delicious and huge vegetarian Ital food. Curry veggie chunks, beans, spinners, fava beans, cucumber, lettuce, cabbage, tomato, zucchini, okra, squash, and cooked and raw carrots. The veggie chunks, which remind me of the size, shape, and color of the Blue Mountain dog food we fed our dog in the 70s, are shockingly delicious, they have a nice texture and outstanding flavor of curry.

It amazes me how good the food is in Jamaica. I always say it is tough to get a bad meal on the island. Even the food served in the schools is good and those of you that grew up in the U.S. eating hot lunch from the school cafeteria know how difficult that would be. Pan fried fish with curry vegetables and rice and peas.

Out for my morning walk, the sun coming up over the hill. The sun always seems to rise in the north east.

Elvis, always on duty at Peewee’s. Not a traditional tourist spot Peewee’s bar is on Negril’s West End about 1/2 way from the roundabout to Rick’s Cafe.

Ray and I were out for our morning walk, we left the north end of the Sandals South Coast property and walked along the beach. Nice and cool at 5:30 am but it warms up fast.
